Why ?

BioFuse’s combination of precisely calculated energy with physical pressure, produces semi-translucent seals on arteries, veins and ducts. The algorithm of the BioFuse generator measures multiple critical tissue variables in real time and processes these variables ensuring that the correct amount of energy is delivered to produce the proper sealing effect. This process shrinks and denatures the collagen and other cellular proteins within the tissue, allowing the collagen’s bonds to break and fuse together. Thus creating a homogenous cellular structure capable of withstanding extreme pressures. The permanent seal is created without leaving behind any foreign materials that could interfere with future diagnosis. The BioFuse soft tissue sealing system can replace most other haemostatic devices for sealing vessels as large as 7 mm in diameter.
